In an obscenely absurd incident on the afternoon of Friday, March 21, infamously woke “Squad” Rep. Alexandria Ocasio Cortez (D-NY) made a ridiculous gaffe while speaking to a crowd of supporters, saying that what the Democrats need is a party that “farts harder” for the people of America. Predictably, conservatives on X (formerly Twitter) took to cracking up about the incident.
As background, this isn’t Rep. AOC’s first time making a fool of herself at a public event. She also did so when trying to rally support for the now-ousted Rep. Jamaal Bowman (D-NY), running onto the stage and jumping wildly while trying to get the crowd pumped up. All she succeeded in doing was making herself look ridiculous. Similarly, she has been hilariously heckled at speaking engagements in her own district.
In any case, Rep. AOC appeared in the town of Greeley, Colorado as part of her “Fighting Oligarchy” tour alongside Vermont’s Independent, socialist senator, Bernie Sanders. During the event, she tried to attack Republicans as members of an uncaring, unfeeling oligarchy and telling constituents of Republicans that they “deserve better.”
While speaking about that, AOC took the opportunity to attack a Republican representative, Rep. Gabe Evans as a member of that unfeeling oligarchy that she and Sen. Sanders, himself a multimillionaire with multiple homes, claim to be fighting. Doing so, AOC said, “I hear that you have a representative that has not done a town hall.”
Continuing, the woke representative added that she finds it suspicious that Rep. Evans isn’t working harder for his constituents. Doing so, she said, “You know, I will say, usually your first three months on a new job, you are on your best behavior and working your hardest. If this is the best that you all are getting, I think you deserve better.”
It was around that time that the far-left representative made her absurd gaffe about a Democratic Party that “farts harder” for Americans. Making that ridiculous comment, she said, “We need a Democratic Party that farts harder for us.” Watch her make the absurd gaffe here:

A spokesman for Rep. Evans, sneakily using that ridiculous line to mock AOC and the Democrats, said, Democrats may not know what their brand is right now, but Congressman Gabe Evans knows his. Congressman Evans is fighting for lower costs, safer communities, and making the American Dream possible for all Coloradans. His commonsense approach stands in stark contrast to AOC and Bernie Sanders’ extreme, anti-oil and gas rhetoric.”
Commenters on X did much the same thing and roasted AOC for the slip up. One such commenter, for example, wrote, “Hahaha! Yes… Dems… This is your leader! Please please please push this!” Another joked, “I don’t know what a fart fight is, but I think I’d rather watch on the internet instead of spectate in person.” Still another joked, “They have it. Eric Swalwell. Somebody tell her.”
