In one very sweet moment for the Trump family at the Monday, January 20th Inauguration festivities, President Trump spoke about Barron, who stood up and waved to the crowd, The crowd lost it with applause, wildly cheering for him as he suavely waved and looked around at the cheering audience.
The moment was, of course, beloved on the conservative sectors of X (formerly Twitter), as Barron is quite well-liked and his strategy of getting Trump on podcasts is seen by many as having been what helped tip the election to Trump, as it rallied young men to him and got so many more people listening to him and ready to vote for him.
So, Eric Daughterty, a conservative X personality who is now Assistant News Director at the Florida’s Voice news outlet, posted a clip of the heartwarming incident and wrote, “🚨 THERE HE GOES! Barron Trump is loving the cheers, puts his hand up to his ear and eggs on the crowd to chant his name. What an amazing day for him.”
One of the top commenters on Mr. Daugherty’s post praised Barron and said it is quite likely he will be president, writing, “Barron Trump is extremely smart…can control his emotions and expressions, given the environment he has been exposed to as a child..will make an excellent future formidable President. I look forward to the time he takes office as the youngest USA President..he will be well prepared.”
Another commenter, saying Barron quite deserved the praise and cheers, wrote, “Great to see Barron Trump enjoying himself. He’s a true patriot and a fine young man. His family must be so proud of him. The Trumps are a class act, loved by Americans. Barron deserves all the cheers and applause. He’s a great kid with a bright future ahead.”
Still another commenter wrote, including a screenshot showing Trump looking warmly toward Barron as he stood and waved to receive the crowd’s thunderous applause, that the newly inaugurated president is obviously quite proud of his beloved son, writing, “Such a proud father. You can feel the love emanating from Trump. ❤️” Watch the moment here:

Yet another commenter chimed in and noted that with Vance following in 2028 for two terms and Barron in the obvious pipeline, given the crowd’s adoration of him, we have quite a long period of Trump presidencies to look forward to. That commenter wrote, “It won’t be over after 4 years. Not even close 😉 Vance 2028 and then it’ll be Barron Trump for President 20__?”
Others added, on quite similar notes about the president’s college-age son, comments like, “Barron, the brains behind the podcast domination of Trump’s presidential win. What a sight,” He could seriously be President one day. I’d love to see it,” and “Trump was glowing watching his son get so much positive attention. It was beautiful to see.”
