Speaking on Inauguration Day, which was Monday, January 20, CNN personality Jake Tapper spoke to fellow CNN personalities Van Jones and Anderson Cooper, and the three freaked out over the inauguration of President Donald Trump. Particularly, the two bemoaned the idea that, under Trump, America will enter an “era of deepfakes and all sorts of disinformation.”

Mr. Tapper’s comments came in the context of his freaking out over the presence of numerous Big Tech founders and executives at the inauguration of President Trump, which he claimed was dangerous because of the supposed “misinformation” that he suggested the executives were complicit in or responsible for.

Tapper said, shortly before Trump took his oath of office, “We‘re about to enter an era of deepfakes, and all sorts of misinformation and the degree to which those five gentlemen play a role or do not play a role, will be pivotal in terms of where the American people are four years from now, in terms of understanding what is true and what is false.”

Continuing, Tapper said, speaking of Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg, Tesla founder Elon Musk, Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos, Apple CEO Tim Cook and Google CEO Sundar Pichai, that they “control so much of the information that we receive, so much is in their hands when it comes to ascertaining, monitoring, or refusing to monitor what is real, what is not real.”

CNN’s Anderson Cooper chimed in as well and repeated Tapper’s hysteric warning while expanding it to the whole world, saying, “Not just talking about we, the United States, you’re talking about the world. All the human beings on the planet, they control access to information. They’re the gatekeepers in many ways to information for the entire planet.”

Not to be outdone by this two fellow hysteric CNN personalities, Van Jones chimed in and claimed that the “revenge of the nerds” would be “historic,” saying, “Look, that picture is going to be historic. I call it the revenge of the nerds. Don‘t forget, all four of those gentlemen, four years ago, were supporting the Democratic Party.”

Jones further added, commenting on how the Democrats under Biden had utterly lost what power they used to have, “An untold story here is how the Democrats go from four years ago to having the White House, the Senate, the House and Silicon Valley to now all four are in the hands of Donald Trump.” Watch them here:
