WATCH: Russian Navy attack is 'real wake up moment' for Britain, Lib Dem MP tells GB News

Liberal Democrat Foreign Affairs Spokesperson Calum Miller MP has warned that shots fired by a Russian Navy warship towards a British couple is a "real wake up moment".

Speaking to GB News, Mr Miller said: "I think we're all shocked to be reminded that the Russians are moving up and down the Channel all the time.

"And the fact that they've fired at this vessel when the folk onboard the yacht made very clear that they were not close to the Russian boat, and they were moving away from it, it's a real wake up moment, I think, for the UK.

"It comes in a week when we had the trial of people who were who were convicted of firebombing the Prime Minister's house and car, and I think it reminds us just how imminent the threat from Russia is."
