The GB News Breakfast team couldn't resist having a go and "showing King Charles how it's done" after seeing the monarch play a carrot recorder.
Host Stephen Dixon claimed to be a "carrot expert" after watching footage of the monarch's musical attempt.
Speaking on Breakfast this morning, Stephen said: "You may think: 'Is that King Charles playing a carrot?'
"It is, alongside the London Vegetable Orchestra last night during a reception to recognise those involved in community music across the UK. Now he tried his best. He's not a carrot expert."
Ellie Costello said: "Oh, is he not? No, no. Who is?"
Stephen said: "Actually, it's one of my hidden skills. Really? I know you'd be surprised by what I can do.
"So this is how you should do it if The King's watching."
