A recent clip of Tom Homan suggesting he would arrest Denver Mayor Mike Johnston for defying Donald Trump went viral on social media. Homan has made a number of explosive interviews, but this clip drew an especially dramatic response. Kasie Hunt, a CNN anchor, was visibly disturbed by the clip, but the online response was positive.
“Me and the Denver mayor agree on one thing. He’s willing to go to jail. I’m willing to put him in jail,” Homan said. The CNN anchors are visibly disturbed. “Why is she shocked? It’s treason and Homan has said it many times, he will prosecute anyone who gets in his way,” one user replied to the clip. “They put various Trump officials in prison for non-crimes, and spent two years trying to put Trump in prison, but the concept of turnabout was something they never considered?” another explained.
“I call BS. Besides, promoting illegal immigration or interfering in enforcement is an actual crime,” the same user concluded. “Sanctuary city officials are violating US immigration law. It is a crime to knowingly induce illegals to come or remain in the US and conceal, harbor, or shield illegals from detection. 8 U.S. Code § 1324 – Bringing in and harboring certain aliens,” another noted citing the US legal code.
In an interview with Newsmax earlier this year, Tom Homan, whom Trump has charged with ending the immigration crisis, stuck back at Woke Pope Francis. The Pope issued a statement saying that Trump’s plan to deport illegal immigrants from the United States is a “disgrace.” In an appearance on Italian national television last week, the Pope said that Mr. Trump’s deportation plan “is not the way to solve things.”
At the beginning of the viral clip, reporter Rob Schmitt asked Homan, “I want to ask one final question. The Pope this week said that it’s a disgrace what we’re now doing with this new government, deporting all of these people we’ve got, you know. Obviously there’s, there’s going to be a lot of media searching for the sad stories here, trying to turn public opinion against this operation.”
He asked Homan, ” What’s your message to the American people, as you guys do this work?” Homan gave a fiery response to the Pontiff. “I’m a lifelong Catholic. I was born Catholic. I’ve been through Catholic doctrine, but he only concentrates on the Catholic Church. First of all, he’s got big problems there in the Vatican.” “They have a wall around the Vatican. If you enter the Vatican, just the crime is serious, you’ll be charged with a serious crime [and end up] in jail, ” he added.
He skewered the woke Pope’s hypocrisy: “So he can protect the Vatican where he lives. He can build a wall where he lives, where American people are not allowed. ” The border Tsar gave a strong moral argument for why he wants to secure the border: “Securing the border saves lives.” Homan added that there are real costs to the human smuggling that brings many illegals to our nation.

“He needs to understand that we secure the border so that people come. Less women get cartel by the cartel, less children die in the river, less Americans die from fentanyl overdose,” he said. Homan added that the Pope has more pressing issues to worry about than illegal immigration into America. He replied, “He ought to stick to the Catholic Church. That’s a mess.”
