In a shockingly rude and untoward scene out of the state of Vermont, hundreds of protesters gathered to protest Vice President JD Vance when he tried vacationing with his family, harassing him for having held Ukrainian President Zelensky’s feet to the fire during the meeting between Zelensky, Trump, and Vance over the future of American aid in the war.

As background, that meeting went quite poorly and mainly consisted of Zelensky first reneging on a mineral rights deal struck by Secretary of State Marco Rubio with he Ukrainians, and then being put on the defensive by President Trump and Vice President Vance. That led to arguments and Zelensky being so rude that he was tossed out of the White House.

During the meeting itself, Vance told Zelensky, “Mr. President, with respect, I think it’s disrespectful for you to come into the Oval Office to try to litigate this in front of the American media. Right now, you guys are going around and forcing conscripts to the front lines because you have manpower problems. You should be thanking the president for trying to bring an end to this conflict.”

In a post about the meeting posted to his Truth Social social media platform, President Trump said, “We had a very meaningful meeting in the White House today. Much was learned that could never be understood without conversation under such fire and pressure.”

He added, “It’s amazing what comes out through emotion, and I have determined that President Zelenskyy is not ready for Peace if America is involved, because he feels our involvement gives him a big advantage in negotiations. I don’t want advantage, I want PEACE. He disrespected the United States of America in its cherished Oval Office. He can come back when he is ready for Peace.”

In any case, Vice President Vance, who, as mentioned earlier, had been harsh with Zelensky during the meeting, was harassed by a gathering of hundreds of protesters when he made it to Vermont with his family. They were, in the wake of the explosive exchange over the war, asking at the Sugarbush Resort in the town of Warren, Vermont.

As they arrived, Vance and his family were harassed by a nearly half-mile-long gathering of those protesters who were holding a great many pro-Ukraine signs. Those protester-held signs did things like, Fox News Digital reports, call Vice President Vance “Nazi scum,” calling him a “traitor” for being anti-Zelensky, and telling him to “go ski in Russia.” Still others said slogans like “Trump serves Putin,” “Theocracy is not freedom” and “Stand with Ukraine.”

Fox News Digital further reported that the Vances were originally meant to stay at an inn near the resort, a four-star hotel that was near the ski resort, but that, even ahead of the protests, they decided to move to an undisclosed location to avoid any potential incidents.

However, Fox News Digital added that though there were hundreds of angry protesters who harassed the Vances, some locals and skiers thought quite the opposite. In fact, one skier told Fox News Digital that the demonstrators were ridiculous. The skier said, that outlet reports, “Those people protesting Vance are f—ing morons.” Watch the moronic protesters here:

🚨 JUST IN: JD Vance and his family were forced to relocate to a secret location after pro-Ukraine protesters confronted him in Vermont.

PROTESTER: “After what Vance did yesterday, he crossed the line.”

These people are completely unhinged.

VP Vance, speaking about the Trump Administration’s stance toward peace in Ukraine, said, “When President Trump talks about the need to bring peace, whether it’s in Russia and Ukraine or in the Middle East, we have to recognize that as a policy oriented toward saving lives and carrying out one of Christ’s most important Commandments.” Watch him here:
