Meanwhile in this country, police officers are now patrolling classrooms for playground insults - with one nine-year-old child slapped with a so-called non-crime hate incident for calling a classmate a disparaging word beginning with R, and ending with D, that mocks their level of intellect.

Two other schoolgirls were given NCHIs after saying another student smelt like fish. And with newly collected data from The Times shows these draconian NCHIs are widespread - more than 13,200 hate incidents recorded in the 12 months to June, it's clear now our current state of affairs certainly does stink.

This all comes off the back of the journalist Allison Pearson being visited at home on Remembrance Sunday by two cops who said she was being investigated for a tweet she fired off last year.

Obviously they wouldn't tell her what the tweet was or who complained, because nothing is allowed to make sense anymore.

And just last night gender-critical campaigner Maya Forstater told me she had finally been cleared by hate crime cops for a tweet she sent to a trans person - but only after more than a year of criminal investigation.

So watch your language and your thoughts this weekend. Don't have too much fun. Don't voice an opinion - especially if it goes against the grain. And don't you dare speak up about the rapid decline of everything that we once enjoyed about Britain.
