(LifeSiteNews) — Dear friends,
The world is on the brink of global war.
- Russia and the West are fighting a proxy war in Ukraine.
- The U.S. and Israel are waging war against Iran with no end in sight.
- China is eyeing Taiwan across the Strait.
This is a powder keg, and it needs just one spark to set the world alight.
Here are some recent headlines from the world’s press:
- “Putin Ally Claims World War III ‘Already Underway.’” (Newsweek, U.S.)
- “Xi Jinping is in a battle with China’s own military, and the outcome could drag the US into WWIII.” (Business Insider, U.S.)
- “World War III imminent, many Americans and Europeans fear: poll.” (Global News, Canada)
- “Are we heading for World War Three?” (The Week, U.K.)
From the family dining table to the corridors of power, fears about a coming war are heard everywhere.
But does anyone know how to stop it? And who will take the right actions in time?
That’s where LifeSiteNews comes in.
We tell the truth about why the West is so far down the road to ruin.
We don’t shy away from the fact that we have turned away from God and committed monstrous evils in His sight. As He said:
Behold I will bring an affliction upon this place: so that whoever shall hear it, his ears shall tingle: Because they have forsaken me, and have profaned this place: and have sacrificed therein to strange gods… and they have filled this place with the blood of innocents. (Jer 19:3-4)
A society that murders babies, mutilates children, and rejects God faces complete ruin – unless it returns to His love and His law.
In the aftermath of World War I, Pope Pius XI taught, in Quas Primas, that “as long as individuals and states refused to submit to the rule of our Savior, there would be no really hopeful prospect of a lasting peace among nations.”
“Men,” he continued, “must look for the peace of Christ in the Kingdom of Christ; and that We promised to do as far as lay in Our power.”
LifeSiteNews also strives to work for the peace of Christ in the Kingdom of Christ.
We are a team with many human frailties, but we truly want Christ to reign in our world.
Only by returning to God can we secure a peaceful world for our children and grandchildren.
You can help us bring souls back to God by donating to our fall campaign.

In June 1914, Europe looked forward to a summer of peace. One bullet in Sarajevo changed all that.
Over the next four years, 20 million men, women, and children lost their lives in the global conflagration that became known as World War I.
This was an unparalleled catastrophe for mankind.
Perhaps the worst of its consequences was the Russian Revolution of 1917 which established the world’s first communist regime.
Hundreds of millions of adults, children, and unborn babies have since died at communist hands.
But God did not leave us without remedies.
Between Lenin’s arrival in Russia in April 1917 and the Bolshevik seizure of power on November 7, Our Lady appeared six times to three shepherd children at Fatima, Portugal.
During her last appearance on October 13, she said:
I have come to warn the faithful to amend their lives and ask for pardon for their sins. They must not offend Our Lord anymore, for He is already too grievously offended by the sins of men.
This call to repentance is the core message of Fatima.
On July 13, she had said:
The war is going to end. But if people do not stop offending God, another, even worse one will begin in the reign of Pius XI.
She also spoke of the devotion of the First Saturdays and the consecration of Russia to the Immaculate Heart by the pope.
This must be done, she warned, or Russia “will spread her errors throughout the world, provoking wars and persecutions of the Church.”
Mankind didn’t listen, and everything she warned against happened.
World War II broke out, and afterwards Communism spread throughout the world, causing wars and persecutions, just as Our Lady said.
Despite all these warnings coming true, we have gone from bad to worse.
- Atheism and mockery of God,
- Abortion,
- Child and adult genital mutilation,
- Euthanasia,
- Worship of pagan deities like Pachamama.
All these evils – and many more – make us far more deserving of punishment than the generation of 1914.
But with God there is always hope.
He has held His hand back because He is still giving us a chance to repent.
And while there is still time for repentance, we can do what is necessary to stop the destruction that threatens us all.
But the time for action is now. There can be no further delays.
LifeSiteNews’ mission is simple: we tell the truth about what is happening in our world, so that mankind can amend its ways and turn back to God.
Our team:
- Gives you the facts about national and global events – such as our coverage of Israel and Gaza, which comes from an objective perspective, not from an Israeli or Islamist point of view.
- Holds those in power to account through true investigative reporting – it was LifeSiteNews that broke the story that the future Leo XIV engaged in pagan Pachamama worship.
- Promotes prayer and repentance to help souls come to know and love God – for example, guiding readers through the First Saturdays.
- Proclaims the reign of Jesus Christ over laws and government – our national billboard campaign has now honored Christ in 15 U.S. states.
- Spreads the truths of the Catholic faith, free from the liberal and modernist errors that plague many outlets – for example, our series on the “Four Last Things” presents the full truth about these crucial doctrines.
We stand at a crossroads: one path leads to total destruction, the other to Christ and peace.
Your donation today can help mankind take the right path.
LifeSiteNews must raise $750,000 in this fall campaign, which ends on September 30.
$750,000 is what is needed to keep our operations online, and our output growing, so that we can serve you and those you love.
It is donations of $25, $50, and $100 that keep our international team of journalists, editors, and videographers in the field.
These gifts are the fuel that powers our truth-telling machine.
And when we receive larger gifts of $500, $1,000, $5,000, or even more, we can invest in expanding our platforms to reach even more people with the truth.
With hundreds of millions of website views and social media impressions every year, LifeSiteNews is undoubtedly the world’s leading faithful news media organization.
Each impression is contact with a soul who needs truth.
But with your donation we can help even more people navigate this dangerous world of ours.
A gift to LifeSiteNews today puts you on the front line of this fight.
Thank you for helping us serve the cause of love, life, and peace.
Yours sincerely in Christ,
