Nigel Farage has demanded for the identities of the RAF Fairford suspects to be released as he argued the public "deserve to be told the truth".
Reacting to the suspected terror plot in Gloucestershire, Reform's leader said: "I have been warning both in and out of Parliament for many months about Iranian agents coming into to UK via small boats across the channel.
"We deserve to be told the truth about the Fairford bomb plotters identities."
Counter-terrorism police are investigating motives - one of which is possible Iranian links - behind the suspected terror plot against RAF Fairford, the Royal Air Force base used by the United States military, it is understood.
However, as the case is active following five men being apprehended this morning, the motive(s) behind the suspected terror plot remain unknown.
Police received a call around 12.45am about three suspicious vehicles heading towards the airbase.
Armed officers responded, with five men arrested in the nearby Whelford area, to which they remain in police custody.
If Iran was behind the plot in any way, they would likely use their own nationals rather than using criminal proxies to carry out an attack, sources suggested to the Telegraph.

US President Donald Trump said the suspects behind the plot were "looking to do big damage".
Applauding the police response, he said: "It was fantastic. Working with Britain, it was an amazing job.
"We had them under investigation. They were looking to do big damage to our fort, and working with the British worked out great.
"We had them under view for a long time, and we got them."

Prime Minister Andy Burnham said the Government will "always take every step necessary" to protect the country.
Defence Secretary Wes Streeting said he has been in-touch with his American counter-part Pete Hegseth.
Speaking from Labour's conference in Liverpool, he said: "I don’t think it will come as a surprise to anyone that, given the importance of Fairford, not just to the United Kingdom but to the United States, we’ve been working closely with our American friends, and I’ve been in touch during the course of today with my counterpart Pete Hegseth."
