Dennis Prager is best known for founding PragerU, a conservative site that offers 5-minute video breakdowns of issues that matter to conservative voters. As an American conservative talk show voice and podcast host, Dennis, through PragerU has had influence over the political sphere for well over a decade.
Yet it's not his politics making headlines this week. It's his health. Colleague Mark Davis called for prayers for Dennis on X (formerly known as Twitter), and Dennis's Instagram explained that he was dealing with a health issue. Here's what we know about what happened to Dennis and why fans are praying for him right now.
Mark explained that Dennis had suffered a severe back injury, and was currently hospitalized as his doctors explored treatment options. On Instagram, PragerU posted a screenshot of their explanation, which reads, "On Tuesday morning, PragerU founder and our dear friend Dennis Prager suffered a serious back injury following a fall. He's resting in a local Los Angeles hospital as doctors assess treatment options." They added, "Dennis welcomes the healing power of your prayers."

I think Prager is a decent man, and I will pray for him.
As a political pundit, not my cup of tea, a bit too conciliatory in some circumstances, but I do believe he is a decent man.
And I have always enjoyed the 5-Minute videos he hosts. I like that concept.

Thanks for posting this.
Back injury sounds a lot better than a lot of other possibilities a 76 could be facing.
Get well soon, Dennis.

Prager is one of the greatest philosophers of our time.

For a back injury, I would always start with a chiropractor.
Too many doctors want to do surgery, when there can be a simple correction that is not in the doctor’s toolset.

Oh dear. I will pray for his full, swift recovery. He’s one of my favorites- his insights have been helpful to me over the years.

Father we ask that you heal your fearless warrior Dennis Prager. He is really needed, his wisdom is a healing balm to any who know him, and his leadership and knowledge has lead many to the correct path.

I don’t listen to radio much outside of the car and I don’t drive much more than 3k miles a year. Having said that late last week I listened to his show for a hour or so. He is is really a clear thought between good an evil that the leftist represent. God speed.

Respectfully, I do not agree.
For a back injury, start with a GP, then get an xray, and if possible, then physical therapy.
Chiropractors will try to put patients on an expensive contract. In most states, they cannot prescribe meds.
If manipulation therapy for injury recovery is what you want, and it can be a very good thing, seek an osteopathic physician.

Chiropractors will try to put patients on an expensive contract.
That is NOT true. Some will. Most don't. And some try to get you on a CHEAP contract. Many have their own x-ray equipment. Some ar good. Some are not. Some are good for some people, not others. More variation to be sure.

Doing weight training can also correct weaknesses of issues that led to the injury in the first place.
