Apple surprise-announced a new Mac Studio in the middle of its "Air" week on March 5. The new compact desktop comes in two configurations featuring the M4 Max and all-new M3 Ultra chips, and Apple is calling it "the most powerful Mac ever," to quote its press release.
The new Mac Studio is now available for preorder in the Apple Store starting at $1,999 for the M4 Max version and $3,999 for the M3 Ultra variant. It's set for release on Wednesday, March 12.
