Nintendo has confirmed a Direct Presentation is on the way to close out March but don’t expect to learn anything new about the Switch 2.

In fact, the Big N preemptively warned audiences tuning in that there “will be no updates about Nintendo Switch 2 during this presentation.” On this occasion, at least, the limelight is squarely on providing updates for games still to come for the original Switch.

As far as specific announcements go, nothing concrete was mentioned, so the likeliest agenda for this Direct is a smorgasbord of small indies and big budget titles spread across different genres. Could this finally be the time for Silksong? It might not be as unlikely as you’d think.

What time is the Nintendo Direct?

Nintendo’s spring 2025 Direct takes place on March 27 at 7 AM PT / 10 AM EST / 2 PM GMT and will “feature around 30 minutes of upcoming games for Nintendo Switch.”

Where to watch live

As always, you can watch the entire Direct on Nintendo’s YouTube Channel or via our on-site embed below at the aforementioned times. If, for whatever reason, you’re unable to watch live, the entire broadcast will be available as a VOD post-show, again on Nintendo’s YouTube channel.

What to expect

As a strictly Switch-focused affair, trailers for any titles still due to be released for the console during its twilight years are fair game. While none of the below are confirmed to be present, here’s a nonn-exhaustive list of games known to be on the way:

  • Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4
  • Star Overdrive
  • Capcom Fighting Collection 2
  • Lunar Remastered Collection
  • Rusty Rabbit
  • Bubble Ghost Remake
  • Onimusha 2: Samurai’s Destiny
  • Atama
  • Pilo and the Holobbok
  • Wind Story

As for the Switch 2, you won’t have to wait long to learn more. Nintendo will reveal a “closer look” at the hardware on April 2, and you can find more information via our hub.
