I just got word from my daughter that her job is now in danger because of this taking place. Her position and organization does not have any DEI or woke initiatives or anything else of the like, but now her entire division has halted all work and she tells me her job is now in danger. Her supervisors say Trump's approach is like using a sledgehammer where only a scalpel is needed.

I'm all for cutting spending where it can be done, but not for a job that ensures that the nation's crops are monitored for pests that could destroy them.

I voted for Trump, but this kind of recklessness needs to stop. He's too many good people with this approach.

It does not sound like your daughter’s job is funded by a Grant or a Loan.

Funny how American workers have been facing this fear for 50 years and the response was “learn to code”.

Now the bureaucrats are finally getting downsized and it supposedly the end of civilization as we know it.

Change hurts. We lived with it for our whole lives. The DC bots will figure where to go next just like we did.

What kind of grant funds your daughters job?

It affects any organization covered by executive orders. So if she's not working in Green New Deal, or bringing in boatloads of "asylum seekers", or foreign aid (e.g. USAID). Those along with woke gender promotion and DEI are cut off.

Others organizations are not, but that doesn't stop some woke CEOs from pretending that they are affected and it's the end of the world.

The order does not affect farm programs from my understanding. Maybe I’m wrong.
In either case - it’s a pause, not a termination. Organizations would be foolish to get rid of people during a pause - as the legit ones will be turned back on.

Exactly.

I have lived and worked long enough to where one time everyone was fired and we all had to re apply for our jobs, most did not make the cut. I ended up with a promotion. Long story short as much as this sucks people need to look at it as an opportunity, especially if they are actually competent at their work.

Yes this is impacting a lot of people but it needs to be done. Nipping around the edges will not solve the problem.

All that being said I am praying daily and our church is for everyone who is being impacted by this government restructuring. We realize everyone needs compassion and help through this.

Not get free government money any more really does tend to “confuse” freeloaders.

Funny how when policies that actually SHRINK THE BEAST affect you personally you really would rather have HUGE government infecting all of our lives!! Some of these programs are NOT NEEDED, our country is TRILLIONS in debt, sorry about your daughter but SOMETHING has to be done!! Just to add this should show EVERYONE just how deep the tentacles of government go, why in the hell are these companies depending on government money???

Yep, they need the optics of as many people as possible crying about their jobs, even though they aren’t threatened. I’m sure the media is already reaching out to these people.
