Whoopi Goldberg shut down co-host Ana Navarro for prematurely stoking fear about Donald Trump's second term as president.

The View's panelists disagreed about how to speak of the president-elect after host Alyssa Farah Griffin shared that she decided to tone down her rhetoric until she sees what Trump actually does once in the White House.

Goldberg took issue with Navarro after the Nicaraguan pundit said 'she is not going to wait and see' what Trump does to warn others of the danger she believes he poses.

'There’s nothing to be done until you know what you’re fighting,' Goldberg fired back. 'Pissing in the wind doesn’t help! You just get a wet face.'

Navarro had previously stressed that Trump 'has told us he’s a retribution' and 'is going to be a dictator.'

Goldberg added that 'You lose credibility in many different ways,' with such rhetoric.

'If you don’t know what you’re talking about and you accuse him of something, then they’re gonna blow it back,' the Oscar winner said.

'That’s why I say we need to wait and see exactly what [he’s] gonna do.'

It comes after Goldberg and co-host Sunny Hostin had an awkward encounter last week as the political debate turned tense.

Hostin, 56, was sharing her views on Donald Trump's decision to nominate WWE billionaire Linda McMahon as U.S. education secretary, when she and Alyssa Farah Griffin became locked in a war of words.

Referring to the voucher system, Hostin claimed: 'What happens with vouchers, the studies show very clearly that they fund students already attending private schools. So people with money, get those vouchers, use the vouchers to pay less for their private schools and their kids go on to do well.

'A 2020 study found that only about half of states with voucher programs required teachers to have a bachelor's degree, required teachers to have training, required teachers to have licensing,' Hostin continued, as Farah Griffin butted in again and said condescendingly: 'If I may get in just to make it a conversation.'

As Hostin carried on reading out statistics, former White House aide Farah Griffin continued talking over her and pointed out: 'I went to public school, I believe you went to public school... you got to go to private school.'

But Whoopi, 69, was not impressed at all and decided to step in and fumed: 'Okay because nobody can figure out what's being said here right now,' as Hostin said: 'One last point...,' and Whoopi fired back: 'No, there is no last thing right now!

'We're gonna go to break and then we're going to come back, because what's happening is, no one can hear anything anyone is saying,' Whoopi added as Farah Griffin argued: 'I haven't gotten a word in, she's been talking for three minutes!'

All six of the panelists endorsed Harris in the presidential election, with some hitting out at the president-elect

But Hostin was keen to have the final word as she responded: 'You talked for the first two,' as the ABC program quickly went to a commercial break.

Following last month's presidential election, ABC News executives are reportedly actively searching for a conservative, pro-Trump voice to join the panel on The View after its stars all backed Vice President Kamala Harris for president.
