Here’s a question I hear everywhere I go, including from fellow Christians: Why are so many Christians so cruel? I can’t tell you the number of times I’ve heard someone say something like: I’ve experienced blowback in the secular world, but nothing prepared me for church hate. Christian believers can be especially angry and even sometimes vicious.

Probably has something to do with the fact left hates christians..so christians should hate away back, not to mention the Pope’s a dick.

The central message that Christians have to proclaim to the world is that You are going to Hell unless you believe on the Lord Jesus Christ. I guess that sounds cruel. It’s the only offer God ever made to allow sinners into His presence.

Well I;m not going to pay to read sophomoric nonsense, but I assume it’s because he has been told his homosexual lifestyle is sinful.

They don’t go to a Christian church, but they worship
what most of us would repudiate.

In his world if you do not praise sodomy, child rape, child mutilation and child murder as “stunning and brave” you are a hater.

He’s a Deep State GLOBALIST and has finally figured out that what keeps the US from becoming a PATHETIC Basket Case when it comes to freedom and prosperity is the conservative US Christians, particularly in the South.
That ANGERS HIM to no end.

The NYT does a poor job of competing with the Babylon Bee. Their style has no discernible trace of tongue-in-cheek in it. They write like they really mean it and that’s not funny at all. But they publish a lot of fiction on a daily basis so I don’t know what they’re going for here.

Well, since the site requires more cookies than I’m willing to agree with ... I guess that depends on what they call “Christian” to be “cruel” in their estimation.

There are bigots everywhere, in every religion, in every profession, in every place you encounter people. They’re all individuals and not representative of the group of which they’re part. And there are vicious bigots, and just plain bigots. It’s likely that he’s been burned by some vicious Christian bigots, and his own bigotry is trying to tie the group to those individuals. Groups can’t stop nasty individuals from claiming membership. But intelligent people should be able to recognize the difference between a nasty person and a well meaning group.
If he truly thinks the bigot is representative, he does, indeed, have a limited friendship circle.

John 3:19 (ESV)
And this is the judgment: the light has come into the world, and people loved the darkness rather than the light because their works were evil.

Slandering Christians is the favorite pass time for western atheist socialists.
Just another day for the American secular (atheist really) media.
