A California woman died and dozens were injured after a Target semi-truck plowed through the center divider of a freeway and caused a massive crash.
The accident happened around 8.55am local time on the 210 Freeway in Irwindale, about 20 miles east of Los Angeles, according to KTLA citing the California Highway Patrol (CHP).
In addition to the woman who died, at least 25 others were injured in the accident.
Three of those people were reported to be in critical condition, according to the CHP.
The woman was declared dead at the scene, though her identity will not be released until next of kin are notified.
CHP traffic logs said the semi had crossed from the eastbound side of the freeway into the westbound lanes after crashing through the center barrier, according to the outlet.
The truck then went across several westbound lanes and hit several vehicles.
Photos of the accident on the Citizen app showed the semi crossed across the freeway, with Bullseye, Target's fictional bull terrier mascot, visible on the vehicle's side and back, and police cars in the background.
