A woman has warned people online to steer clear of seafood boils being sold in plastic Shein bags - after revealing she ended up in the hospital.
TikTok's latest bizarre trend sees people selling the homemade boils in the same bags that have held clothes from the fast-fashion company.
Surprisingly, people have been splashing out roughly $30 on the bags and recording themselves chowing down.
But one women has now urged people on the video-sharing app to avoid buying the food and shared that it caused her to be admitted to the hospital.
Although she didn't reveal what she was treated with, the content creator, who goes by @livevona on TikTok, shared photos of herself at the medical center with an IV in her arm.

The clip, which has so far amassed more than 5.1 million views, was captioned: '#Shein. #Seafood boil.'
The content creator shared images of herself in bright spirits as she donned a hospital gown.
She said: 'This is your sign to not eat Shein's seafood boil.'
Another woman also took to the video-sharing platform to showcase the seafood boil she had purchased.
Taniya Raye took to TikTok to reveal she bought a seafood boil, which came in a Shein bag, from Facebook Marketplace.
She showcased the food as she revealed: 'Bro, look at this… it’s not funny. One, it’s in a SHEIN bag. Two, the sauce spilled out… you’re playing! This is literally a joke. Like, I’m being pranked.'
The mom lifted the bag up and showed viewers the contents, which prompted them to flood the comments section and express their disgust.
One person said: 'Why would anyone do this?'

Someone else wrote: 'Are people just buying food from Facebook? That seems risky.'
Another person added: 'That's absolutely insane.'
Although putting seafood in Shein bags may seem harmless, it can spark a slew of health issues due to the high levels of lead.
In 2021, a study from the University of Toronto unveiled that there were high levels of lead in products from stores Shein, AliExpress and Zaful.
Scientists revealed that a toddler’s jacket purchased from Shein had a whopping 20 times the acceptable amount of lead that is safe for kids. Meanwhile, a purse had five times the safe level.
At the time, Miriam Diamond, environmental chemist and professor at the University of Toronto, said: 'People should be shocked. This is hazardous waste.

'I'm alarmed because we’re buying what looks cute and fashionable on this incredibly short fashion cycle.
'What we’re doing today is to look [for] very short-lived enjoyment out of some articles of clothing that cost so much in terms of our… future health and environmental health. That cost is not worth it.'
After the study was released, the fashion company removed both the purse and the jacket from its site.
A statement from a Shein spokesperson noted that it 'committed to continuous improvement of [its] supply chain.'
