World Cup final descends into violence at full-time whistle as Spain and Argentina players clash in ugly scenes

The World Cup final finished amid outrageous scenes as fights broke out among the two sets of players. 

As Spain's substitutes and staff ran on to the pitch to celebrate their historic 1-0 win against a desperately poor Argentina, some of the South Americans lost their heads. 

Reduced to 10 men after the dismissal of Enzo Fernandez in added time at the end of the 90 minutes, Argentina then saw Leandro Paredes sent off for pushing players to the ground and aiming punches at Spain forward Gavi.
