WTH happened in South Korea yesterday or the day before and why is the story dead. It's dead like the Las Vegas Shooting several years ago.
As far as I can figure out, I think there was a coup attempt by the lefty leaders of S Korean congress and then the Korean President called for martial law THEN the congress took a vote and cancelled it?
That's at least how I understand it given the choppy reports I was able to read or watch.
Having spent some time in the 2ID as a 96B in the HQ Company I know that North Korea was involved. They always are. They have tons of agitators and paid politicians through out Seoul. I just wonder who else was involved.
Seeing how the S Korean President is considered conservative could Soros have been involved and/or the CIA. Is the CIA the reason the news about the event stopped?
And because I don't believe in coincidences a second world leading country, France, was disrupted the day after when it's leader, Macrone, was suddenly ousted.
Does any of this have to do with Pete Hegseth's nomination? What about the CEO of United health care who was murdered? Or is any of this a reaction to Trump telling Speaker Johnson to shut off the money spigot to the Ukraine?
That's a lot of big deals happening at the same time and something's up.
I'm just throwing stuff on the wall and see if it sticks. Anyone want to help connect some dots?

The President declared martial law and locked the legislature out of the capitol but they climbed the barricades and held a vote to override the declaration of martial law.

I contacted a former student of mine and told him I was praying for SK. This is his response:
My fellow Democrats and National Assembly member stoped his coup. Korea’s democracy never fell by only one villain. Thank you for your pray. Now me and fellow citizens are ready to impeach him again.3 posted on 12/05/2024 1:29:10 PM PST by Jemian ( Buy American. Employ Americans)

Yes...odd isn't it. The last thing I read was that, even though their legislature voted to cancel martial law, the military vowed to ignore that until the president himself cancels it.
Now, like you said, the story has virtually disappeared

Why did he declare martial law?
To: fightin kentuckian
Because he lost the election.

Why did he declare martial law?
To hear him say it, SK has a deep state undermining him. To be honest, I didn't take time to study how true it is.
But given what happened to Trump, and given, as the original poster asked about, that the media has conveniently forgotten this very important topic, it may be that the U.S. media doesn't want us to realize how common it is for nations to have a deep state undermining their elected officials.

Because he is an idiot. He will either resign or be impeached in a few weeks. This is a nonideological problem. If martial law persisted, there would have been a military coup. Yoon did not do his 2 years of military service. At some point, the generals would have wearied of him.

Ha! Thanks, that’s how the current situation feels. It will get even more convoluted when 47 is sworn in as the deep state attacks.

ROK’s president declared martial law, essentially attempting to oust the country’s legislative body, the National Assembly, in what amounted to a coup attempt. President Yoon will likely be impeached or resign over this. There is plenty of info still being published on this.
And French President Macron was not ousted, his Prime Minister was.
