Former WWE boss Vince McMahon made a rare public appearance at Madison Square Garden on Monday, watching the New York Knicks defeat the Miami Heat 116-95.
The 79-year-old was spotted courtside during the St Patrick's Day NBA clash, sporting a new look with his previously noted moustache now gone.
McMahon, who was dressed in a green suit jacket and shirt, also displayed grey streaks at the front of his hair, prompting one fan to nickname him "Vincent Kruella McMahon".
During the broadcast, McMahon was simply referred to as a "former wrestling promoter", a description that caught the attention of WWE fans on social media.

"That 'Former wrestling promotor' is so strange to see as well", wrote one fan who also noted McMahon looked "broken".
Another posted: "Vince McMahon spotted at the Knicks game and mentioned as 'Former Wrestling Promoter' Wow."
"Former wrestling promoter! Damn!" added a third with a laughing emoji.
One fan objected to the classification, saying: "Put some respect on that man. If it wasn't for him wrestling would still be back road tikki torches type of event."
This marks McMahon's second notable public outing in recent months, following his appearance at Super Bowl LIX last month.

McMahon has consistently denied any wrongdoing in relation to the allegations.
His lawyer, Robert W. Allen, recently stated that federal prosecutors in Manhattan have dropped a criminal probe into whether McMahon attempted to cover up multiple allegations of sexual misconduct.
The lawsuit filed by Janel Grant remains ongoing, with Judge Sarah F. Russell now tasked with deciding whether Grant's amended lawsuit can proceed.
In mid-February, McMahon's legal team filed an opposition to Grant's amended lawsuit, arguing the request was untimely and made in bad faith.
