Mick Foley may not be indestructible, but the WWE legend is pretty darn close.
The 59-year-old took to Instagram on Wednesday night to discuss his recent car crash. And while his vehicle was completely totaled, Foley described himself as 'lucky' to walk away with only soft tissue damage.
'It's Mick Foley,' he told his followers on Instagram after revealing the crash online earlier in the day.
'I just want to take a moment to thank all of you for your well wishes, your positive energy, your prayers,' he said. 'I had so many people in wrestling reach out to me. I was just sending some texts with The Undertaker a few minutes ago. Triple H reached out. Been a pleasure, really, to have some of the biggest stars in wrestling and [wrestler] Al Snow reach out to me. That never gets old.'
But the message wasn't entirely positive for the usually upbeat Foley.
As he explained, Foley is 'banged up' after the crash.
Mick Foley admitted to being sore after this week's crash, but still insists he feels 'lucky'
Foley's sedan was left totaled by the wreck, which he was somehow able to walk away from
Foley said that he checked into a hospital and was diagnosed with a mild concussion
' I feel like a truck has run over me,' he said in the self-shot video. 'I'm propped up against, like, seven pillows.
'But looking at the accident and looking at the car, I don't think anyone would predict the guy in that car would come out of it with soft tissue damage. I wouldn't say it's miraculous, but I'm feeling really fortunate right now. I will not be missing any of my dates.'
Foley still travels the country, meeting fans and signing autographs at various events. In April alone, he has four stops in Texas, one in New Mexico, one in Arizona, and then a week in Las Vegas ahead of Wrestlemania 41.
He did not divulge any specifics about the crash, such as its location or if any other cars were involved. Rather, Foley signed off by thanking his fans, while making it clear that the incident had nothing to do with the April 1 holiday.
'I just want to thank all of you, assure you it was not an April Fool's joke,' he said. 'I'm very grateful, I'm very sore, but thankful for all of you. Have a nice day.'
Foley made his name during the 'Attitude Era' of wrestling, winning three WWF Championships in the late-1990s as well as a TNA World Championship in the late-2000s. Foley was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2013.
In addition, he was an eight-time WWF Tag Team Champion – teaming up with other wrestling legends like Stone Cold Steve Austin, The Rock, and Kane.
Recently, he revealed that he had undergone some extreme weight loss with the help of diet, exercise, and some prescription medication. As of January, he's down from 370 pounds to around 280 pounds.
