Xbox Finally Shows Gameplay Of Long-Delayed State Of Decay 3

Today during Xbox’s big Xbox showcase, the publisher finally showed gameplay for the long-in-development State of Decay 3. It is set to arrive next year on Xbox, PS5, and PC.

Here’s the first gameplay trailer for the open-world zombie game:

The first gameplay trailer for State of Decay 3 showed off a bigger, darker world than that seen in the previous entries from Undead Labs.

I also spotted some of the special infected that appeared in those games in here, including the big one that blows up, a type of zombie you must legally include if you’re making a zombie game, of course.

State of Decay 3 was first announced back in 2020 with a trailer that, we later found out, was basically fake and didn’t represent the game. Now, six years later, we finally got a look at State of Decay 3. Will it arrive in 2027? We’ll find out.
