XRP Ledger tokenization gains momentum as RWA value hits $4 billion

XRP Ledger (XRPL) has reached a couple of new milestones, as the tokenized Real-World Asset (RWA) value network and participation hit new record highs.

As the latest data from RWA.xyz shows, XRP Ledger’s represented asset value has climbed to $4.06 billion, marking a 2.18% increase over the past 30 days, while the number of RWA holders rose 25.16% in the same period, sitting at 199.

The uptick comes just days after Ripple announced strategic investments in infrastructure firms ZILO and Licuido, which are intended to expand the XRP Ledger’s institutional capabilities and establish it as a leading RWA platform.

XRP Ledger continues to focus on real-world asset tokenization

Beyond the increase in represented asset value, the XRPL ecosystem now hosts 373 tokenized real-world assets, while distributed asset value stands at $368.82 million. Stablecoins remain another key pillar of the network, their combined market capitalization having grown to $901.4 million, supported by roughly 60,240 holders.

Not every metric moved higher, however. For instance, RWA transfer volume over the past month has dropped significantly to $18.15 million, while stablecoin transfer volume has gone down 1.79% to $3.89 billion.

Still, the overall figures underscore Ripple’s broader strategy of transforming the XRP Ledger from a payments-focused blockchain into infrastructure for institutional tokenization and digital finance. Now, the platform supports token issuance, custody, collateral management, multi-currency transactions, and atomic settlement.

The company has also expanded its institutional network through partnerships with firms including Aviva Investors, Franklin Templeton, and DBS. As tokenized asset values continue to climb, Ripple’s investments appear to be fruitful, leading to broader adoption and further advancing the plan to make the network more appealing to institutional clients.
