XRP network active addresses rocket 655% in two weeks

As XRP gained more than $31.27 billion over the past seven days, reaching a market capitalization of $93.8 billion on August 25, its on-chain activity has skyrocketed by more than 650% over the past two weeks.

The XRP’s active addresses surged by 654.71% between August 10 and August 24, according to data from Santiment. Specifically, this token’s network activity moved from 47,180 active addresses on August 10 to 356,070 accounts on Monday, thereby increasing by 308,890 active addresses in 14 days.

The parabolic gain in XRP daily activity has coincided with the broader cryptocurrency bullish sentiment. With the token’s price mooning, up nearly 50% over the past seven days, this explosion in active addresses signals a higher network activity.

XRP activity spikes amid renewed demand

The sharp uptick in this altcoin’s daily active addresses has coincided with its renewed demand, through growth in Artificial Intelligence (AI) agent transactions and spot Exchange-Traded Funds (ETFs). For instance, the XRP Ledger (XRPL) network recorded 5,355.43 token’s settled through AI agent transactions at press time, up 38% in 30 days, based on metrics from t54.

As for the United States’ spot XRP ETFs, they have recorded only one week of cash outflow since July 1, 2026. As such, these funds attracted $95.65 million between the first day of July and August 24, currently holding $1.44 billion at the time of publication, as per updates from SoSoValue.

XRP price performance outlook

Following the 654.71% gain in XRP’s on-chain activity, the token’s price rallied 50.22% over the past seven days, trading at $1.49 at the time of writing.

Over the past 24 hours, this token’s trading volume added by 4.67% to hovering around $6.33 billion at the time of publication.
