Legal? I don’t think its a crime, but no in baseball its not “legal”. The batter was called out. And these two buffoons should never see the inside of an MLB stadium again.

Miracle the player wasn’t injured if you watch closely. That was assault.

Yes, player’s wrist was in a dangerous position and he was hanging by it. Miracle he didn’t rip some tendons or break a bone.

"And these two buffoons should never see the inside of an MLB stadium again."

Pretty sure it will get them a lifetime ban from any MLB park. It certainly should.

Agreed. That should be a lifetime ban offense.

“Gio ” on WFAN is calling it the turnaround moment of the series, as in winning momentum. I hope he’s kidding.

Not being a baseball fan, It doesn’t really matter to me who wins, but fans should restrain themselves from interference.

It’s like a football fan (Not NFL) once ran onto the field and tackled a player running with the ball...............

This went WAY beyond interference.

Most Egregious Interference in the History of Sports

I think most Cubs fans would disagree.

To: bigdaddy45

I don’t know about New York but in Florida there is a law against interfering with a public sporting event. I think it was passed in response to the ‘Streaking Craze’ of the early 70’s..............

From Wiki:

Jeffrey Maier incident

The Jeffrey Maier incident occured during Game 1 of the 1996 American League Championship Series between the New York Yankees and the Baltimore Orioles. Twelve-year-old Jeffrey Maier deflected a batted ball, hit by Derek Jeter, into the Yankee Stadium stands for what umpires ruled to be a home run, rather than fan interference. His interference altered the course of Game 1.[1] The resulting home run allowed the Yankees to tie the score.[2] They were victorious in the game and won the series four games to one.
