Chelsea goalkeeper Zecira Musovic reflected on making her 50th appearance for Chelsea as the Blues marched home to a 3-0 victory over Celtic FC in the UEFA Women's Champions League (UWCL) on Wednesday night.

Reaching the half-century milestone, Musovic tells 90min: "It's 50 appearances that have been blood, sweat and tears. I've been having great years and I'm looking forward to even more with this team. 50 games for this club is a huge moment for me.

"I do everything I can every day to be the best version of myself and keep improving. These 50 appearances have been blood, sweat and tears. I've been fighting for them, for every single one of them. I will keep fighting, I will keep improving."

Musovic has been with at Chelsea since January 2021, signing from FC Rosengard in Sweden's Damallsvenskan. The goalkeeper has been a part of the winning squad through three of their Women's Super League (WSL) titles, as well as two FA Cups.

"There has been a lot of highlights with all the wins that we won for the titles," said Musovic before going on to make a joke about Chelsea's longing for a Champions League. "I do have a special place for another one, but we don't mention it yet!"

The Swedish keeper has had to ride her time on the bench recently, with Sonia Bompastor making her intentions clear when selecting Hannah Hampton as the number one choice in goal. Musovic was firm when saying this has not deterred her, and claimed she "wants to keep trying her best".

"When I come to the training ground every day, I have my goals for that specific day," she added. "That's how I push myself, that's how I move forward and have been able to move forward for a lot of years now despite all the challenges along the way. I'm doing my best, I have my own individual goals and I don't let circumstances around me define my work or my progress.

"I want to be the best, I want to be the one playing, I want to improve every day. Then you have a role to play as a teammate, you have to respect each other regardless of who is playing and I think that is a strength of ours. I feel like I have a lot of teammates around me that support me, and I support them."

The 3-0 win over Celtic FC means that Chelsea secured qualification to the quarter-final stages of the European competition, sitting at the top of their group standings with four wins from four.

"It means a lot," Musovic expressed. "We'll take one game at a time and we want to win every game that we are playing in. We want to have a good performance, we had a good performance today against a good Celtic team."

When asked whether or not Chelsea are already dreaming of European glory after an emphatic start to the campaign, Musovic firmly said "It's one game at a time."

"It was a good performance today against Celtic, respect to them because they had a really good defence today which made it hard for us to score even more goals," she explained. "Of course Champions League is a huge on for us this season, and we want to go all the way."
