Zoë Kravitz has nothing but nice things to say about her ex Channing Tatum following their split.

The “Big Little Lies” actress praised her ex-fiancé while discussing why she cast him as Slater King in their latest film, “Blink Twice.”

“Channing was the first person I thought of for Slater King, and I don’t know where that came from, similar to you,” she told “Batman” director Matt Reeves for Variety’s Directors on Directors.

“I knew that the character needed to be somebody who we think we trust, especially because you don’t believe Naomi [Ackie] is getting on that plane if it’s someone who is immediately insidious,” Kravitz, 36, added.

“I wanted to weaponize his charisma. We’ve never seen him do something like that.”

The “X-Men: First Class” star’s comments come nearly two months after the couple called off their engagement after three years together.

In October, a source told People that Kravitz and Tatum, 44, “haven’t been on the same page and grew apart.”

Another source told Us Weekly that the pair realized they weren’t meant to be.

“Ultimately, once the project [‘Blink Twice’] ended, they realized they were on different pages with what they wanted,” the insider said.

“It fizzled fast after their press tour wrapped.”

The source added that Kravitz and Tatum were forced to start thinking about their nuptials after wrapping the promo tour for their thriller.

“Wedding plans were looming, but neither of them were rushing to the altar,” the insider said, adding the process put “a lot of pressure on them” and made them “rethink” the whole thing.
