Here is what to know about this oddsboard:
The Favorite: Somewhat shockingly, Notre Dame is now the favorite to win the CFP, despite having not been the favorite for several weeks and despite the fact that it suffered its first loss of the season this week, falling on the road at BYU 28-24. On top of that, Ohio State — the favorite for the last several weeks — beat defending national champion Indiana on the road 19-15. Funny how the odds work, right? N.D. moved from +500 to +450, while OSU went from +400 to +480. There was controversy at the end of both games, to be fair. Upon replay, the Irish should have had one second left for a final play in the 28-24 defeat, but the clock was never reviewed. As for the OSU win, the Hoosiers looked to score a touchdown with just over a minute left in the game, but Nick Marsh was out of bounds on what would have been the go-ahead TD reception. The Buckeyes won 19-15.
SEC Shakeup: Georgia, like Notre Dame, also suffered its first loss of the season, falling at home to Auburn 27-24 via a last-second field goal. Its odds went from +500 to +510. Alabama, after losing to Georgia last week, lost its second game in a row, on the road at Tennessee (26-10), and Texas, which lost to Oklahoma last week, dropped its second in a row, falling at Florida (27-24). Bama went from +900 to +1200 and Texas went from +900 to +1600.
