Amaya Cookie Diaz – the 19-year-old accused of stabbing a mother of five in Texas – is out from behind bars after posting bond this week, The Post has learned.

Cookie along with her sister Kitty Mia Diaz, 21, and their 21-year-old friend Kyandra Renee Faz, are each facing first-degree murder charges after police say Cookie repeatedly stabbed Caroline “Caro” Peña during a violent, broad-daylight fight in the small border city of Del Rio on June 25.

The Diaz family apparently coughed up $200,000 cash to post Cookie’s $2 million bond in order to free her from lockup on Tuesday – even while her sister remains behind bars, reps from the Val Verde County Sheriff’s Office and Correctional Facility, confirmed on Thursday.

The specific details surrounding Cookie’s bond posting “are confidential only between the family who requested it,” a rep from El Amigo Bonding said when reached by The Post.

However, “There’s problems already. We know that when someone gets killed, problems will happen. And it’s already happening, so [the Diaz family] has to lie low,” the employee continued.

“But we know that justice will prevail. Justice always prevails,” he added.

Neither of the twisted sisters – who flashed sickening smiles as police hauled them off in handcuffs hours after allegedly butchering Peña – have entered a plea on murder and tampering with evidence charges.

The harrowing chain of events kicked off after Faz told police that Peña had “arrived at her residence looking to start a fight,” the complaint states.

Surveillance footage later obtained by investigators showed Peña’s black Dodge pickup truck driving up to Faz’s house, where Cookie and Kitty arrived shortly thereafter.

The video shows Cookie fly out of the passenger seat of the black Chrysler 300 and confront Peña – while holding an object believed by cops to be a knife in her right hand, the complaint states.

Cookie is then seen striking the mother in the back, where blood begins soaking her shirt, according to cops.

That’s when Kitty and Faz jumped in — allegedly beating Peña before running away, the complaint states.

Peña, a beloved mother of five, was reportedly driven to a local hospital by her nephew. She succumbed to the stab wounds about seven hours later, around 9 p.m., at a hospital in San Antonio.

The Diaz sisters allegedly scrambled to cover up the brutal crime before they and Faz were arrested later that day, according to cops.

Del Rio police have not yet offered a motive for the alleged attack, or revealed the nature of the defendants’ relationship with Peña.

Cookie’s arraignment hearing is scheduled for Nov. 4. She and Kitty – whose next court date is not yet scheduled – each had their respective bonds lowered from $5 million to $2 million during a previous court hearing.

Faz, who has a pre-trial hearing on Dec. 11, has pleaded not guilty to the same charges, for which she remains in custody on $5.2 million bond.

The Post reached out to lawyers for the three defendants.
