America’s ambassador to Greece bragged at a Swiss gathering of global elites that wealthy Greek businessmen were paying for her jet-set travel.

A recording from the January World Economic Forum captured the comments, according to The Wall Street Journal. On it, Kimberly Guilfoyle flaunted her closeness to two Greek tycoons. She was lobbying to get into a dinner for Eric Trump.

Guilfoyle flew to the forum aboard a private jet owned by Alexandros Exarchou, the chief executive of the construction firm Aktor Group, according to the Journal. She also planned to fly to Paris on the jet of shipping magnate Nikolas Tsakos. Tsakos covered her stay at the Four Seasons George V, where she posted 20 photos of herself to two million Instagram followers. Trying to talk her way in, Guilfoyle told an American businessman on the guest list, “You know, I can deliver the world to you. Which you deserve,” according to the Journal. Greek House Davos had kept her off the list before she won a last-minute seat. Chairwoman Irene Vantaraki said Guilfoyle was “gracious and discreet” and left early, according to the Journal.

At Davos this January, Kimberly Guilfoyle was flexing her connections to Greek tycoons as she made an urgent request: She was being blocked from attending an upcoming dinner being held for Eric Trump, and she wanted to enlist an American businessman who was on the guest list to help get her in the door. “I’m going to make you a lot of f—ing money,” she told him, according to a recording reviewed by @WSJ. The recording follows earlier reporting about her promotion of American natural gas deals through Aktor, according to the Journal. Secretary of State Marco Rubio declined to discuss the allegations during a visit to Athens, according to KTVU. He praised his embassy’s performance.

A spokesman for the U.S. Embassy in Athens said Guilfoyle’s career rests on “deep and abiding values,” according to the Journal. He said she has met federal ethics and gift-reporting requirements. Her attorney, Jesse Binnall, disputed the authenticity of separate messages reported by the Journal.

In those messages, Guilfoyle asked a Trump donor to wire $100,000 to her American Express account. She offered to help with his tax and legal issues in return. The State Department inspector general is examining whether she took gifts or favors from private businessmen, according to the Journal. Administration officials are weighing her removal before the 2026 midterms.

New York Democratic Rep. Gregory Meeks requested a bribery and corruption investigation, according to the Journal. New Hampshire Democratic Sen. Jeanne Shaheen, who backed her confirmation, called her unfit to serve, according to Raw Story.
