Americans who turn out to vote in November will, in many cases, do so holding their noses. Trust in government, particularly in Congress, is at an all-time low. A record-setting number of Americans believe government officials are corrupt and self-serving. Both political parties are widely loathed — and for good reason.

This election cycle, Americans are sick of the puppets and hungry for candidates who put their voters first and donors, special interest groups and party politicking second. There’s an anti-establishment anger surging throughout the country, in rural, urban, and suburban areas, driven by cost-of-living fears, yet another Middle Eastern war, and the widespread corruption festering within the political system. Candidates, Republican or Democrat, who promise to stand against the D.C. swamp, buck corporate money, and remedy the ills that afflict normal Americans will likely see the greatest success.
