Bag Of Urine Sparks Chaos At Lollapalooza

Chicago’s Lollapalooza music festival went viral for all the wrong reasons after festivalgoers seemingly passed around a urine-filled box.

While the festival’s headlining performances generated plenty of buzz, they were overshadowed by reports of the extraordinary lengths fans went to in order to secure their places in the crowd. Images and fan-shared videos circulated across social media showing concertgoers passing around a cardboard box containing a plastic bag reportedly filled with urine so attendees could answer nature’s call without surrendering their prime viewing locations.

The event, which ran July 30 - August 2, included performances by Charli XCX, Lorde, Tate McRae, and The Smashing Pumpkins. Special guests included Olivia Rodrigo, Yungblud, Lil Uzi Vert, The Neighborhood, Ethel Cain, Empire of the Sun, Major Lazer, The Chainsmokers, and many more.

Four-day passes for the highly anticipated event sold out in mere minutes, CBS News reported.

According to social media reports, devoted fans who needed to relieve themselves but didn’t want to leave their posts got creative and started peeing into the bag inside the cardboard box. The box was hoisted above their heads and apparently shared with fellow fans in need.

Another person wrote, “At this rate I’ll be attending the next concert in a hazmat suit.”

“Do better y’all. If you can’t hold your bladder, stay home or get a diaper,” another person wrote on Instagram.
