Actor Ben Affleck has revealed his love for Valorant, although he admits he’s starting to struggle against younger players who have grown up with the shooter.
Speaking on Josh Horowitz’s Happy Sad Confused podcast, Affleck opened up about many aspects of his career, from the disappointment of Justice League to stories from Good Will Hunting. But towards the end of the interview, attention turned to video games instead.
He explained that early on in his career, he lost a lot of hours to the original StarCraft. “There was a game called StarCraft that probably took the most life out of me for a period of time,” he said. “I had just got famous and all I did was stay home for three years and play StarCraft.”

But he on went to say that he has a lot of affection for Riot’s Valorant, adding: “I love Valorant, it’s a great game.” However, he does have some issues that many other players will probably find relatable.
“The problem with that game is that with the kids that have been raised playing, I just get f**king rocked,” he continued. “I’m like, ‘Are you motherf**kers cheating?'”
“[Then] I get mad and they’re like 11 [saying], ‘F**k you, loser.’ It’s very humiliating, but that’s a great game.”

“I love 2K, I love Madden, and the early Doom, when I first played that game, which then gave rise to Quake,” Affleck added. “We played that endlessly for hours when we were doing Good Will Hunting. I remember writing and taking these long breaks to play Doom.”
This should serve as a confidence boost for any Valorant fan suffering a few losses on the bounce, as even Batman goes through it sometimes.
