The iconic Kilo 141 returns to Warzone in Season 3, and it’s set to be the go-to Assault Rifle for many players, but you’ll need the meta loadout to get the best out of it.

Verdansk is back in Season 3, giving players the chance to relive the glory days. But while the OG map returning is a big win, it wouldn’t be the same without some classic weapons from the time to really complete the nostalgic feeling.

Among the guns making a comeback is the Kilo 141, which dominated the early era of Warzone thanks to its low recoil and impressive damage. Its base version is already deadly, but it’s even better with the right attachments, so here’s how to build the best loadout.

Meta Kilo 141 loadout attachments

  • Optic: Kepler Microflex
  • Muzzle: Ported Compensator
  • Underbarrel: Vertical Foregrip
  • Magazine: Extended Mag 1
  • Rear Grip: Ergonomic Grip

Kicking off the best loadout is the Willis 3x, an accurate scope that’s very useful at longer distances, but you’re welcome to swap this for your preferred Optic. Then, the combination of the Ported Compensator and Vertical Foregrip reduces the ARs already non-existant recoil, making it an absolute laser.

There’s nothing worse than running out of ammo in the middle of a gunfight, so Extended Mag 1 increases your ammo capacity and ensures you can drop multiple enemies before reloading. Finally, the Ergonomic Grip buffs the ADS speed, making the weapon feel snappy to use.

All of this adds up to an Assault Rifle that is ridiculously easy to use with a ferocious TTK at mid-range, while still feeling nimble when moving around the map.

Best Perks and Equipment

  • Perk 1: Survivor
  • Perk 2: Sprinter
  • Perk 3: Ghost
  • Wildcard: Overkill
  • Lethal: Throwing Knife
  • Tactical: Smoke Grenade

When it comes to Perks, you can’t go wrong with Survivor, which speeds up health regen to enable you to get straight back into the fight after being damaged. Then, with mobility being nerfed slightly in Season 3, Sprinter is crucial, allowing you to use unlimited Tactical Sprint.

Next up, Ghost keeps you hidden from enemy Kilstreaks, including UAVs, which could expose your position and leave you open to an attack. We also recommend using the Overkill Wildcard, allowing you to bring a close-range SMG or Shotgun to cover you at all distances.

In terms of Equipment, the Throwing Knife is perfect for quickly finishing off downed enemies, while Smoke Grenades provide great cover when trying to get across open ground.

Is the Kilo 141 meta in Warzone?

Yes, the Kilo 141 is set to be a meta gun in Warzone, purely because it’s so easy to use. While other weapons might have it beat in terms of long-range TTK, especially after the major damage buffs in Season 3, they require a lot of work to keep them on target.

Meanwhile, the Kilo’s forgiving recoil means that you’re more likely to land your shots, so you’ll be getting close to its best TTK in every fight. So, especially if you’re a more average player, this is the perfect Assault Rifle to help you take out the competition.

On top of all that, given the popularity of the Kilo the first time around, it’s likely to be a staple of most players’ loadouts, so using something else would leave you at a disadvantage.

Pros and cons

How to unlock the Kilo 141 in Warzone

To get the Kilo 141, all you have to do is open Warzone while it’s offline between April 2 and April 3, when Season 3 starts. Doing this automatically adds the guns to your inventory, and it can even be levelled up in Black Ops 6 while you wait for the BR to come back online.

If you missed the boat, though, it will be added to the Armory. Just head to the Armory menus and select it, then earn XP by playing matches and you’ll unlock it in no time.

Best Kilo 141 alternatives

If the Kilo isn’t working out, the Model L is another top-tier Assault Rifle that’s easy to use, making it ideal for mid-range fights. The Cypher 091 is also better than ever after a substantial buff, so you switch to that if you want something with a little more range.
