Blake Lively suffered an awkward wardrobe mishap as she showcased her beauty routine in a new video.

The actress, 38, took to Instagram on Thursday to share a clip of herself getting ready for a day out.

It showed her styling her hair and doing her makeup before she showed off the final look to the camera.

But the Gossip Girl alum had an embarrassing fashion blunder as she realized her pants had been unbuttoned the entire time - and she almost left the house that way.

'The look: No time but need to look cute while also raising children,' Lively wrote in a text overlay as she applied makeup under her eye while one of her daughter's hands came into the frame.

The star, who wore a blue, button-down shirt over a cropped black top, took her blonde hair out of a bun and applied hairspray and dry shampoo from her brand Blake Brown Beauty.

She then curled her locks with a tapered iron, explaining that she left the ends out for a 'more casual curl.'

'Alternate directions and twist strands here and there for a more lived-in curl,' she advised those who wanted to achieve the look.

She then 'hand combed the teasing and curl chaos' after giving it time to set.

After her hair was finished, she went back to her glam, putting on some red lipstick, brown eyeshadow and white eyeliner to 'make her eyes look bigger.'

'One of Judy Garland's go-to [techniques],' she noted of the latter.

Lively then stepped back from the camera to show off her final look, when she noticed that her jeans were undone.

She giggled and quickly closed them as she wrote: 'Buttoning your pants is always a nice touch.'

She finished things off with some mascara and another coat of lipstick before she added some to her cheeks and chest, noting that using 'lip color on your cheeks and chest' creates a 'sun-kissed' look and 'natural glow.'

She accessorized her ensemble with a black and white striped bag and some statement necklaces.

It comes weeks after Lively was notably missing from her former best friend Taylor Swift's star-studded Madison Square Garden wedding to Travis Kelce.

Lively and Swift's famously close relationship was negatively affected last year amid the former's contentious legal battle against Justin Baldoni.

In December 2024, Lively named her It Ends With Us co-star and director in a lawsuit accusing him of sexual harassment, retaliatory conduct and intentional infliction of emotional stress.

Swift was dragged into the drama when Baldoni's team subpoenaed Lively for text messages, emails and any other messages between her and the songstress.

His lawyers were then allowed to pore through the text trail, and in one text exchange, Lively appeared to refer to herself as the Game of Thrones character Khaleesi, and to Swift as one of her 'dragons.' Elsewhere in Baldoni's filing was the claim that Swift was present at a meeting convened by Lively at her New York penthouse to discuss script changes.

Sources close to Swift insisted the singer had no knowledge of the meeting and simply arrived to find it underway. The situation reportedly left the songstress, who is godmother to Lively's three daughters, feeling 'exploited.'

Lively and Baldoni reached a settlement two weeks before the May 18 trial date.

The shock deal came after a judge 'gutted' Lively's 2024 sexual harassment and retaliation lawsuit by tossing out her key allegations in April.
