Blue Origin, Amazon founder Jeff Bezos' private space company, is expected to launch its ninth space tourism flight this morning, Friday, November 22, 2024, with six people onboard
Named NS-28 — no-nonsense shorthand for the 28th outing for the firm's reusable, suborbital rocket, the New Shepard — this mission is preparing to blast off from Blue Origin's West Texas spaceport sometime after its launch window opens at 10:30am Eastern Time (15:30 GMT) or 9:30am Central Time in Texas.
The billionaire mogul's space company will stream the launch live, starting 30 minutes before its launch window opens, and DailyMail.com will be covering the action live here. The stream will also be simulcast live, courtesy of Blue Origin, on the company's website.
Blue Origin said that NS-28 will be up in the air for roughly 10 minutes, before executing a soft parachute landing of its manned New Shepard crew capsule.
