A murder investigation has been launched after a woman's body was discovered in the boot of a car in Ilford, east London.
The victim, who has not been named, was from Corby, Northamptonshire.
Northamptonshire Police are leading the investigation into the suspicious death, with detectives working to establish the circumstances surrounding the incident.
The discovery was made after police were contacted on Wednesday by a member of the public who raised concerns about the woman's welfare.

"Although we believe that this was a targeted incident and there is no wider risk to members of the public," Freeman explained.
Police activity will continue throughout the weekend in various locations, including both Corby and Ilford areas.
Extra patrols are being deployed in Corby to provide reassurance to local residents.
Superintendent Freeman confirmed: "The investigation is ongoing and there will be continued police activity over the weekend in various locations, including Corby and Ilford."
