Cathay Pacific Airways has reopened one of its business lounges at Hong Kong airport, a day a fire broke out and triggered the evacuation of more than 250 people.
The city’s flag carrier said The Pier business lounge had reopened on Sunday.
“The lounge was temporarily closed yesterday following an incident involving one of the supporting systems,” the airline said in response to the Post’s inquiries.
“We sincerely apologise to the affected customers for the inconvenience, and appreciate their understanding.”
A blaze broke out at the lounge’s supporting facilities on Saturday morning, prompting staff on duty to immediately alert firefighters.
