Chief Justice Roberts is playing the ostrich

Chief Justice John Roberts has expressed concern about the Supreme Court's declining public trust, but has failed to acknowledge the self-inflicted wounds that have contributed to the crisis, such as the court's controversial decisions, ethical lapses and the politically charged confirmation process.
