Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber have spoken out about their son Presley’s tragic death at 27.

“We are beyond heartbroken to lose our beloved son and brother,” a tribute posted to the model’s Instagram Sunday read, featuring a black-and-white photo of Presley with angel wings.

“We feel so blessed to have had Presley in our lives for 27 years. He is a sweet, beautiful soul who loved and is loved, now and forever. We are so proud of how he showed up in the world, with kindness and vulnerability,” they added.

Crawford expressed her family’s gratitude for “the outpouring of love and support from so many who know and love our family and even strangers who feel our pain.”

“Til we meet again our sweet boy. We love you forever, Mom, Dad and Kaia 🪽,” the statement concluded.

Presley died at an undisclosed rehab facility of a suspected overdose on Sept. 20. A cause of death has yet to be confirmed.

He’s survived by his actress/model sister Kaia, 25, as well as his former supermodel mother, 60, and businessman father, 64. The couple tied the knot in 1998 and welcomed Presley in 1999, as their oldest child and only son.

In the years before his passing, Presley talked openly about his addiction battles and mental health struggles.

During a 2023 appearance on the “Studio 22” podcast, Presley noted that he struggled with “mental health, depression and some other things that come along with that.”

He also noted that he spent “a lot” of time in therapy trying to “look into myself“ over the years.

“It is such a big part of my life. It’s a 24/7 job, and there’s so much to it.”

Per The List, he took to Instagram Stories in 2024 to talk about “dealing with [a] current, very high opioid addiction.”

In March, Presley wrote that he had “started finding [his] way back to [him]self,” adding via Instagram, “We shall see. Praying it’s the last time I have to come back [to treatment]. Next time I’d like to choose.”

One month before Presley’s passing, Kaia praised her brother for sharing his struggles publicly.

“My parents for most of our lives were very, very private and didn’t share anything — and now we have this absolute teacher, my brother, who says, ‘I’m gonna be very human for everyone,’” she told Vogue in August 2026.

“The Shards” actress noted that Presley’s issues were, “why I started to self-identify as the easy one and never wanted to ask for help.”

When news of Presley’s death broke on Sunday, Kaia and her parents released a joint statement requesting “privacy during this very difficult and painful time.”
