Chris Wallace has listed his century-old Washington DC home for $6.4 million days after quitting CNN to become a podcaster.
The outgoing anchor lived in the four-bedroom, five-bathroom 7,000sqft home for the past three decades and is selling just as layoffs loom over the news channel.
Wallace, 77, walked away from his seven-figure contract, days after he co-hosted CNN's election night coverage.
He described leaving his longtime employer as 'quite liberating' and his time at the network will be over at the end of the year.
Although Wallace described the streaming and podcasting space as 'where the action seems to be,' he is not exactly sure where that will take him.

Wallace was on Fox News before he joined CNN in 2021 to work on its CNN+ streaming service, only for it to be canned before it even began.
He ended up as an anchor on CNN's cable coverage, but said it wasn't what he joined the company to do and it was never a great fit.
Wallace may have jumped before he was pushed if a report claiming he was the first casualty in CNN's layoffs is accurate. He was reportedly offered an analyst role at a reduced salary and decided to walk instead.
The house sale is being handled by Michael Rankin of TTR Sotheby’s International Realty.
