College football sensation Travis Hunter has finally opened up about the viral moment between him and fiancee Leanna Lenee, saying there is a lot going on that people may not understand.

It has been less than two weeks since an awkward encounter between Lenee and Hunter got plenty of attention on social media after the Buffaloes' blowout win over Oklahoma State, with fans left to speculate about what caused their apparent spat.

Hunter could be seen going in for a kiss and Lenee, who seemed unhappy with her man, had an agitated look on her face. The two then exchanged words with each other that looked unpleasant.

'There’s a lot of stuff that could be happening in the stands, people don’t understand that,' Hunter said on 'The Pivot Podcast'.

'She might look irritated towards me, but at the same time, there’s a lot of stuff she deal with during the game. There’s a lot of stuff people don’t see off the camera.'

Hunter and Lenee have been together for years, with their wedding taking place next year.

Travis Hunter and Leanna Lenee have both spoken out about last month's awkward moment

They have been dating for several years and both said no big problem exists between the two

'I just let people talk,' Hunter continued. 'Me, I’m a big troller so I just troll the internet. I really don’t care what they think or what they say about us so, I just go on there and troll. They talk about her, I post her to make them even more mad than they already are so they try to find something to hate, try to find something to break up on our relationship but ain’t nothing there, ain’t nothing you can find cause I love my woman.'

'She’s my closest to everything, she helped me with everything. It’s kind of hard sometimes but she’s always there.'

Lenee had previously spoken out about the situation on social media.

'These pics were taken 30 seconds after that clip by the way. Pls remember that social media is not real, and 5 seconds is not enough to understand a situation,' she said.

Hunter's college career is nearly complete, as he is a finalist for the Heisman Trophy.

Alongside Boise State running back Ashton Jeanty, Hunter is considered a frontrunner to win the biggest award in college football.

Hunter will find out if his unique two-way skill set leads to a Heisman Trophy on Saturday.

The Colorado star would be the first person to win the Heisman Trophy while playing defense since Charles Woodson in 1997.
