Within hours of Wednesday night’s horrific midair collision at Reagan National Airport, some Democrats were blaming President Trump’s proposed budget cuts and workforce executive orders.

Thursday morning, Trump blamed his predecessor’s DEI policies.

Various geniuses on the internet are blaming one or another dark conspiracy.

How about we let the investigators investigate?

Give the families of the dead a respectful moment to collect their loved ones and begin grieving. 

Hold off on the blame games ’til we have some actual facts, so we have a hope of apportioning it correctly.

And of learning the right lessons. 

America used to call this “common sense,” and it’s past time to get back to it.
