Jacob Rees-Mogg has accused the AQA exam board of attempting ‘left-wing indoctrination’ via their test papers.
The GB News star showed viewers what he termed as “junk” in the form of a French mock exam paper his daughter was tasked with completing.
The former Tory MP clashed with political commentator Amy Nickell-Turner on the matter as he lashed out at the “deeply disgraceful” test while claiming he has seen similar cases when his other children have presented him with test papers.
“I was a little troubled one day when my daughter Mary asked for help to prepare for a French GCSE mock oral test from the French AQA Pearson textbook”, he said.

He pointed to examples, with quotes like ‘what worries me the most is global warming’ in the book.
“This is extraordinarily politically biased. What has led to the biggest reduction in global poverty is free trade with poor countries.
“Global poverty, which was over 50 per cent is now below 10 per cent. It’s an amazing achievement of capitalism and this junk is telling people that buying goods from poorer countries is bad for them.
“It’s not. It gets them out of poverty. It’s deeply disgraceful.”

“This is absurd”, Nickell-Turner hit back. “You can’t defend exploitative work practices.
“These companies have been found to be exploitative and we, as westerners should not be supporting this.”
Jacob insisted foreign workers aren’t being exploited, continuing his point that the book is full of “massive indoctrination”.
“Children should be left to make their own decisions”, he said. “It’s indoctrination.
“Why does it not say, ‘I would like fracking to start?’, There’s an extraordinary left-wing, green ideology that’s making us cold and poor. Why is it being rammed down the throat of our children?”
AQA has been approached by GB News for comment.
