Travis Hunter could be basking in the glow of his historic Heisman season or peacefully focusing on Colorado's upcoming Alamo Bowl matchup with BYU.
Instead, college football's two-way sensation is facing questions about his embattled fiancée, Leanna Lenee, who has become a target on social media following her appearance at the Heisman ceremony earlier this month.
Amid intense speculation over his own future, Buffaloes coach Deion Sanders focused on blocking out the noise at a recent Colorado practice.
'I want you to know this in front of everybody,' Sanders told Hunter. 'You know we love you, We got you. We appreciate you. You are him.'
Buffaloes players are then seen encircling Hunter before breaking practice with a chant of 'blessed!'
Things took a sour turn earlier this month, when Hunter received college football's highest individual honor in front of his apparently disinterested fiancée. What's more, Coach Prime appeared to nudge Lenee in an ostensible effort to get her to stand for Hunter, although she later blamed the incident on a moment of confusion.
Both Travis Hunter and his partner Leanna Lenee appeared to delete their Instagrams this week

Since then, Lenee has become the focus of intense hatred on social media. And after Hunter deleted his own Instagram this week, Lenee appears to have joined him, as her profile is no longer available.

Hunter's rise on NFL mock drafts has now been overshadowed by his relationship with Lenee.
After a game against Oklahoma State, her and Hunter appeared to get into some sort of argument - with Lenee seemingly rebuffing Hunter's attempt to kiss her on the cheek.
And during the run up to the Heisman ceremony, Lenee appeared angry at Hunter as he took pictures with female fans at a planned event.
Lenee was seen seated just a few feet away from Hunter as he took snaps with a female fan, looking upset before asking him 'What do you want me to do... I'll just sit here then.'
Hunter then appears to suggest that she could leave if she felt like it, with the video catching him saying, 'You could go to the hotel, you can walk around...'
However, Hunter defended Lenee after the incident.
'When we was sitting down and I was at my pop-up shop, we was talking about my family,' he said in some sort of online stream.
'What was they gon' do while I was in there signing stuff. I had all my family there, and that's why she said she gon' stay there, so they can get stuff... [and] have fun there. Some of them wanted to go back to the hotel, some of them didn't.'
He added: 'I know what I got, I know my girl. My girl been with me for five years, y'all are just now starting to talk about me and just now starting to be with me.'
Lenee initially remained seated after Travis Hunter was announced as the Heisman winner
A video also resurfaced in which Lenee said that Hunter was not her 'type' before they had started dating, leading to more vitriol from fans.
Coach Prime has remained relentlessly positive about the defensive back-turned-wide receiver.
'Everything is great, he has the Heisman Trophy at the crib,' Sanders recently told reporters.
'He's projected to be the first or second pick, no later than the third. I don't know where all the bulljunk comes in at. I think it's all a blessing, the things you may count as stressing is still a blessing.
'I think he's heading in the right direction. He loves the game of football. I'm always focused on the positives, not the negatives. It's so easy to see the negative when the positive is right there in front of you.'
Hunter and Colorado will end their season on Saturday at 7:30pm ET.
