My co-favorite golfer could be headed back to the PGA!

For a while now, there’s been a conversation centered around who could possibly leave LIV Golf to make a comeback to the PGA Tour, and one of the top names brought up is consistently Brooks Koepka. Well, it’s happening again, but if you ask Brooks himself, he’ll tell you he has no idea what the hell he’s going to do.

Three years ago, Koepka signed up for LIV on a deal reportedly bringing in $100 million. It’s been assumed for quite some time that the high-profile LIV players, such as Koepka, inked four-year contracts. If true, then the expiration of their deals should be coming up soon, which now has the golf world thinking Koepka could potentially be returning to the PGA.

Making an appearance on the radio, Fred Couples made the claim that Koepka “really wants to come back and play the [PGA] Tour.” That ended up sparking some drama with Phil Mickelson who blasted Couples as a “jerk,” but the conversation around Koepka hasn’t disappeared. Luckily for us, Koepka was questioned about what he was going to do prior to LIV‘s tournament in Singapore, and all he did was add more spice into this entire situation.

“I talked to Fred quite a bit, but we don’t go too much into detail about what’s going on. Like I’ve said before, I’m not in those rooms. I’ve got a contract obligation out here to fulfill, and then we’ll see what happens,” said Koepka.

“I don’t know where I’m going, so I don’t know how everybody else does. Right now I’m just focused on how do I play better, how do I play better in the majors, how does this team win, and then we’ll figure out next year and how to play better again,” he continued.

“It’s the same thing. It’s just a revolving cycle. I’ve got nothing. Everybody else seems to know more than I do.”

LIV or PGA … I’m forever a Brooks Koepka fan.
