Shoppers who purchased now-recalled 'Wicked' dolls are selling them on eBay for shockingly high prices.
The Elphaba and Glinda character dolls that accidentally came with an adult website link on the packages have blown up eBay ever since they were pulled from store shelves.
Several shoppers have listed the recalled dolls for over $100, while some have even put both character dolls for sale for more than $1,000.
Despite the high selling points, the Elphaba and Glinda 'Wicked' character dolls - without the wickedly inappropriate URL - retail for $25 to $40 each.
The fashion dolls were based on the film's lead female characters portrayed by Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande.
The issue first came to light after an X user posted side-by-side photos of Glinda doll with a link to wicked.com on November 9.
Mattel pulled the dolls off store shelves shortly after the shopper created the X post and made the products unavailable for purchase on its website.
Owners of the recalled dolls quickly began listing the products on resale sites, while others wished they could do that.
Online shoppers are listing recalled 'Wicked' dolls for hundreds to thousands of dollars
More than one shopper has listed one of the dolls online for at least $1,000
Several eBay shoppers have created listings based for one or both of the recalled character dolls to sell together or separately.
However, eBay is not the only online marketplace where a shopper can purchase the pricy recalled Wicked dolls.
Mercari, a Japanese e-commerce website, currently has hundreds of recalled Elphaba and Glinda dolls for sale, with one person opting to sell their Elphaba doll for $500.
Several resale listings are for both dolls, and a shopper can purchase a three-doll combo for $330 on Mercari.
Most $1,000 listings were for sets of five 'Wicked' dolls or more, and one enterprising seller even created a 'Wicked' product listing for $2,100, according to The Independent.
Social media users have since spoken up about the prices, and one person wished they kept their 'Wicked' doll products to sell on eBay.
One X user claimed they found a misprinted Wicked doll at a Walmart, but it was flagged as 'unsellable.'
'I understand not wanting kids to get it, but that's pretty stupid to not let me buy it. I guarantee one of those employees I talked to will have that one on ebay tonight,' the Walmart shopper wrote.

The 'Wicked' package error was the URL being www.wicked.com instead of wickedmovie.com.
The first wicked link brought fans to a page with an option to enter an adult website promoting a movie called 'Kenzie Loves Girls 2.'
The website is full of 'movies and parody [adult] films' made by a company that was established in 1993.
'Wicked Pictures was formed with a firm commitment to producing quality parody porn movies, a decision the company has stayed true [to] since its beginning,' the company wrote on its website.
The production company added that it 'continues to diversify and expand its commitment to quality cinematic content.'
Because of the package snafu, searches for Wicked Pictures skyrocketed and reached its highest levels since 2012, according to Variety.
The correct website, wickedmovie.com, also had a spike in search activity after 'Wicked' doll packaging mistake.
Mattel apologized for the adult friendly error on November 10.

Mattel issued a statement apologizing for the error and advised shoppers to discard the package or speak with customer service
'We deeply regret this unfortunate error and are taking immediate action to remedy this. Parents are advised that the misprinted, incorrect website is not appropriate for children,' the statement read.
Mattel then advised shoppers who purchased the dolls to contact customer service for more information, discard the product packaging, or hide the link.
'Wicked' will be released in theaters on November 22, and its sequel is expected to come out in November 2025.
