Lynda Carter had the chance to celebrate the holidays by spending time at the White House and shared an intimate Christmas portrait from her visit.

The Wonder Woman actress, 73 - who recently joined forces with Ryan Reynolds for a SickKids Foundation video - posted the picture to Instagram on Wednesday posing with President Joe Biden his wife, Jill Biden.

Vice President Kamala Harris and husband, Douglas Emhoff, as well as two other guests were pictured together in between two decorated Christmas trees and beneath a portrait of George Washington in the Diplomatic Reception Room.

However, social media users quickly jumped to the comment section to point out how Joe appeared to be standing very close to Carter - while his wife, Jill, was inches away from the others.

One wrote: 'Same Joe, same,' followed by a laughing face emoji, while another added, 'Why does @flotus look like she's photobombing.'

A fan replied to the comment by sharing, 'I was wondering the same!'

Another penned, 'Stunning! You gotta love Joe,' followed by a laughing face emoji.

In response, one Instagram user questioned: 'Why love Joe? Why was Jill so far from Joe?'

Some of the comments were even more brutal, referring to the presidents age and decline.

In the portrait, Lynda could be seen towards the middle of the group as she wowed in a long-sleeved, gold dress that flowed down towards the ground.

The star's brunette locks were parted in the middle, and effortlessly cascaded past her shoulders in elegant curls.

She flashed a cheerful smile as they stood in front of a fireplace while a portrait of George Washington was placed above the mantle.

Joe wore a classic, black suit while his wife, Jill - who recently decked out the White House with Christmas decorations - opted for a champagne-colored ensemble.

In the caption of her latest post, Carter wrote to her nearly 300k followers, 'Merry Christmas! What an honor to once again be in the White House. With love, admiration, and friendship, Lynda.'

Last month in November, she encouraged fans to vote during the 2024 presidential election by sharing a snap of herself wrapped in an American flag.

While standing on a dimly lit set, she looked off into the distance as a light shone down on her.

At the time, she had written, 'Women unite! Vote for reproductive freedom! Vote for @kamalaharris and @timwalz! VOTE BLUE!'

Back in April, Carter also glammed up to attend the White House Correspondents' Dinner in Washington D.C.

She turned heads wearing a dark navy gown with embellishments on the front while a fuzzy shawl draped down towards her elbows.

Lynda has been keeping busy during the Christmas season, and recently starred alongside Ryan Reynolds in a video for the SickKids Foundation earlier this month.

He also got some help in the humorous video from his eight-year-old daughter Inez, whom he shares with his wife Blake Lively.

As part of his campaign to raise awareness about the SickKids Foundation, the acting couple will be matching any donation to the foundation up to $500,000.

Reynolds, whom Forbes reported to be worth $71.5 million as of 2020, appeared on a rooftop in his Deadpool ensemble with what appeared to be Santa's sleigh.

'Benevolence is thirsty work!' he shouted as he tossed a bag into it while Inez, who played Kidpool in Deadpool & Wolverine, sat in it.

'Where to next?' she asked as they prepared for the next stop of the night, with Ryan replying with, 'Well, I thought we'd eliminate sick kids.'

'Oh, dude, that's so f***ed up,' Kidpool said as Deadpool sputtered and tried to correct himself.

'We're eliminating the sickness by encouraging people to donate,' he clarified.

But he thought it was a job for more than just the two of them, as they were 'technically R-rated' and might not be appropriate for little ones.

Then there was a burst of sound and light, and suddenly the actress Lynda Carter was seen crouching down with her fist to the ground.

'Did someone call for help?' she asked before breaking into an ear-to-ear grin. She was clearly alluding to her lead role on the television series Wonder Woman, which ran from 1975 to '79.

'Aren't you a ... wonderful woman,' Deadpool said. Carter was on board, so he asked her to 'do the thing,' at which point she began to spin around in a circle as her Wonder Woman character would do to get into costume while she was bathed in golden light.

But corporate intellectual property rights appeared to get in the way, as Carter's look suddenly changed into a green-and-red holiday sweater with a large gold bow placed over her midriff, just like the sweater Reynolds has worn in advertisements for the SickKids Foundation.

After she looked dumbstruck at the sweater, the Deadpool family shouted 'f***!' in quick succession.

'Who did this?!' Carter asked, aghast, with Deadpool answering, 'The DC lawyers. I knew it!'

He joked that the culprit was 'probably the same guy that got [Superman star Henry] Cavill and that other Batman.'

At the end of the clip, Deadpool said they should untie Santa after finishing their work, but Kidpool shouted 'Never!'

Reynolds and Lively will be matching donations to the SickKids Foundation, which was founded in 1972, up until midnight on December 24.

The organization helps raise funds for The Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto.
