According to Fire Rescue Dogs, the photoshoots 'take place at fire stations and training centers, using live fire props, water hoses, and firefighter equipment—all with the safety of both our puppies and firefighters as the top priority. '

In addition to clutching cute puppies, the firefighters are also holding various tools.
According to the rescue, 'Funds raised from the Calendar will go towards several large expenses including vaccinations, medications, spaying/neutering and lifesaving veterinary care.
'Any additional funds will go towards updating the shelter in order to keep it in tip- top shape.
